Add Full Support for Right-to-Left (RTL) Languages
Hello Noteey Team, I'm writing to request proper support for Right-to-Left (RTL) languages like Persian, Arabic, and Hebrew. Currently, when typing in these languages, the characters are disconnected and displayed in the wrong order (from left to right). This makes the application unusable for taking notes in my native language. Adding full RTL support would make your excellent app accessible to millions of new users. Thank you for considering this essential feature.
Hopefully it will be available on Android and Apple mobile software
Spaced Repetition of Cards
Hello! It would be amazing if spaced repetition algorithms could be implemented for cards. I don’t think this is a feature that’s super necessary at this early stage of Noteey, but it would be really cool to see it added somewhere down the line. Please let me know if more detail is needed for this!
Multi-level labeling
Are there any plans to add a multi-level labeling feature?
Export not complete PDF and PNG
1, the entire drawing board → share → export to PDF, export to PNG 2, select the elements of the board box → right-click → copy as PNG to the clipboard → Photshop in the new canvas - Two export methods "export the entire board" or "export a piece of the board content", the exported content are incomplete, only a small amount of information can be exported (You can only export shapes drawn by the shape tool, a small amount of text information, the background of the frame, etc., such as sticky notes and internal text, cards and internal text, etc. can not be exported.) - You can only export images by taking screenshots one by one.
Add Path Drawing Tool Similar to TradingView
Title of your post: Add Path Drawing Tool Similar to TradingView Post description: I would like to request the development and integration of a Path drawing tool in Noteey, similar to the Path tool in TradingView used for technical charting. Description of the requested tool: The Path tool allows users to draw precise, continuous lines or curves by placing multiple connected anchor points freely on the canvas or chart. This tool is essential for mapping complex price movements, trends, or custom shapes that cannot be accurately represented by basic line or shape tools. Key features desired: The ability to add, move, and delete anchor points dynamically to form customizable paths. Smooth, editable curves between points (Bezier curve support if possible). Options for line color, thickness, and style (solid, dashed, dotted). Precise control to visualize and annotate market trends, support/resistance zones, or other complex technical patterns. Should behave as a vector object, allowing resizing and repositioning without loss of quality. Why this tool is critical: The Path tool is fundamental in professional trading and technical analysis platforms like TradingView for detailed and flexible chart annotations. Adding this tool to Noteey will elevate its usability for market analysts who need advanced tools for visualizing price action and strategy development. Supporting media: I have recorded a video demonstrating the Path tool in TradingView for clarity and included my workflow. I will submit this video separately to provide a clear example of how this tool functions and why it is valuable.
markdown table support

out of the project and the library can increase the card box function, so that you can categorize the card into different boxes to facilitate the reuse of the back, the card box if you can turn into a flashcard would be better to remember the card, in addition, if the card can support zettelkasten naming, and then the card box is automatically generated according to the naming of the tree structure would be better!
Integration with Zotero Items
Since you are going to support Link mode, is it possible to support Zotero integration? Zotero is great to manage PDF files (especially for academic papers). For reference, you can check Logseq, which supports reading PDF files in Zotero. You can also check this blog.
I would like to add a grouping feature for panels and cards in the project, so that panels and cards in a group can be collapsed.
Like this.

Unuse files and images cleaner (automatically)
I wish to add an option that automatically deletes useless attachments in the system file explorer, which can save system space."
Want to transfer Heptabase's Markdown cards into Noteey, but only half successful?
The original cards in Heptabase, containing multiple images and text, were exported as a Markdown ZIP file. When imported into Noteey, only the opening text and one image are transferred. Is there a way to resolve this? The file is attached. Could you please take a look?
Readwise Integration
Any plan to add readwise integration?

This message is not a feature request or a bug report — it’s a call for a careful review of Noteey.
Hi Alex, I first discovered Noteey about a year ago, and I’ve been using it again for the past month. A year ago, I installed it but stopped using it because it was full of bugs at the time. As a Persian speaker — and Persian is a right-to-left language — my very first impression with Noteey was disappointing. I’m a visual thinker, and I’ve tested many “second brain” tools before: Obsidian, Heptabase, Milanote, Scrintal, Freeform, and Miro. Miro, of course, is an incredibly powerful tool — but it’s terrible for use as a second brain. Let me explain why: linking between boards is so weak that it becomes meaningless. When you link an item from one board to another, it reloads the entire Miro page in a new tab. Maybe tolerable once, but if you do this several times, you’ll quickly hate the experience. Still, Miro has its fans because it fills a unique gap that no other tool does — it’s unmatched for collaborative online whiteboarding. It’s smooth, fast, and feels like entering a different world. Everything works seamlessly and reliably. Obsidian, on the other hand, isn’t visual by nature, but with plugins like Excalidraw it can be made more visual — though the connection between text and visuals never feels natural. Yet despite that, Obsidian remains an extremely powerful, fast, and minimal tool. Working with it is pure joy because it’s reliable and stable — every update is tested and bug-free. Fewer features, but high-quality ones — exactly like what the Japanese do with Toyota: minimal, but masterfully engineered. Then there’s Heptabase — it takes Obsidian a step further. You can think deeper with it. The concepts of boards and cards are extremely useful, the linking system is powerful, and working with PDFs feels fantastic. Heptabase fills many of the gaps that Obsidian leaves for visual thinkers. Scrintal tried to compete but failed, because its goals are different — it’s not really suited for a second brain. The same goes for Freeform and others. Now, where does Noteey stand? Noteey came with the goal of bridging the gap between Miro, Heptabase, and Obsidian — but unfortunately, it hasn’t succeeded in any of these areas. Anyone who uses Noteey for a few days quickly realizes it’s becoming more of a Shiny Tool — full of flash and polish — rather than a powerful, reliable tool. What we need is not a luxury app made to show off, but a practical tool that becomes part of our lives. Noteey keeps adding fancy new options in every update, while basic features are still full of bugs. If you want to retain users like me — and many others — please, for at least six months, stop adding new features and instead focus on stabilizing the core of Noteey: its speed, reliability, and essential functions. We don’t need dozens of features we’ll never use — like on new smartphones. What we need are solid, daily-use tools like Backlink View or Graph View, as in Obsidian, which are vital for link management. Please don’t turn Noteey into a Shiny Tool. That path will destroy it. I truly love Noteey and your team — that’s why I’m writing this message today. It’s a warning: shift from the Swiss Army Knife approach to the Workhorse Tool mindset. For at least six months, please focus on bug fixes and hotfixes instead of new updates. You’ll definitely see the results. I’m ready to report every bug and need I encounter — but only if you change your approach. We need a useful tool, because history shows: “All-in-one tools” always fail in the end.
Hopefully the video labeling will support the beeping!
Copy Text in built-in PDF reader (macOS)
I could not find the possibility to directly copy text or words out of the integrated PDF-reader. When I select the text, options are shown to color-mark it. The current alternative is: A. drag the highlighted text to canvas and then right click → copy text B. open PDF in external viewer and copy. It would be awesome to be able to do it in the app, especially if you do not want to create a card, but paste as plain text into the canvas. Thank you!
Support for opening a folder from the drawing board
I tried to solve this need with a link, unsuccessfully
Urgent need for card interaction optimization
Currently, card arrow linking and resizing are inconvenient and require careful handling: First, the blue dot 🔵 for card arrow links only appears when the mouse hovers near the border and disappears when moved away. This area is extremely small, and the dot flickers if the mouse is unstable. This flickering makes it impossible to predict where the cursor will land, forcing users to repeatedly move the mouse near the border, wait for the dot to appear, and then click with extreme caution.Suggestion: Adopt Milanote's approach where clicking a card keeps the arrow dot permanently visible. This allows precise prediction and clicking. Additionally, the blue dot feels oversized. When the frame is small, its size remains unchanged, causing significant overlap between the resizing area and the blue dot. When I move the mouse to the bottom-right corner to adjust the frame, it triggers the arrow. The mouse cursor still only changes when hovering near the border, further limiting predictability. These actions still require careful handling—one misstep and the cursor bounces between the zoom box and the arrow-pulling chart. This has made me largely avoid card linking and zooming altogether. Milanote addresses this by placing a constant zoom indicator in the bottom-right corner, enabling much better prediction. Milanote's connection and adjustment interactions are quite smooth and worth referencing. Another point: Cloud Baidu Drive. Could opening the sync feature be non-intrusive? Ideally, it should default to off (syncing only when manually enabled), with refresh required to activate. Otherwise, the user experience suffers significantly each time.
Would like to be able to display and edit md files directly
I'm trying to import md files from ob into whiteboard and would like to leave the original location unchanged, but it doesn't seem to be possible to display and edit the contents of the .md files directly, meaning that I would need to convert all of them before I could use this software, which is too great a cost for me since I have hundreds of md files that are deeply organized. If this feature was available, I think I'd be happy to support the 599 rate!
Video playback autoplay bug
The current version is 1.25, Baidu.com video will play automatically, you need to wait for Baidu.com to finish loading manually shut down, it affects the experience and when you exit and open it again, it will return to autoplay!
